Labels such as "secular progressives,", not to mention the labels "Christians," "Buddhists," "Muslims," "Jews," "Hindus," "Libertine Agnostics," "Freemasons," "Satanists," "Republicans," "Anarchists," "Communists," "Gays for Gesus," etc... divide, discriminate and promote hatred and dissent among the kind people of this world who might otherwise be harmoniously singing "hare krishna"-- "noel"--"save me the last latke, morrie"--"what the world needs now is jihad, sweet jihad"--"pass the condom round the world"--"stalin is my friend"--and my favorite christmas song of all time:"shop at macy's tonight".
Can't we just look around at each other and laugh at ourselves instead of enforcing our ideas upon each other? No we can't because I am right and you are wrong and I'm going to beat you over the head with my right until you are either convinced of my rightness or dead.
