Pet Peeve of the Day Vol II

People who refuse to order things over a secure site on the internet because they think someone will steal their identity. The media loves to hype identity theft. The truth is it is very rare and happens mostly to people who make a mistake in their finances. It is very rare (if ever) that you lose credit information on sites like Amazon.com or other prominent, trusted sites. Join the 21st century people. Your credit is encrypted and secure. Even if it is compromised, you are protected by the credit card company. Stop making my job more difficult with your insecurities and grow a pair.

Pet Peeve of the day: STOP ANNOUNCING OLYMPIC SCORES BEFORE I GET TO SEE THE DAMN THING TONIGHT!!!! GOD THIS IS GETTING IRRITATING.

You are partly correct about the credit card thing. My dad had it happen to his card (to the tune of a few grand), but the Credit card company ate it, he did it. So while it happens probably more than you think... the credit card people are pretty good to work with on fraud issues.
Get back to work you lazy Republican.

Ignore this part of my comments "he did it." I meant to say he did not charge it.
